This Privacy Policy explains how Hey Finance (“Hey Finance”, “we”, “us”), the AI Finance & Operations platform operated by Hey Money FZ LLC: collects, uses, stores and protects information when you use our mobile apps and web application (the “Service”).

1. Information we collect

Account information: your name, work email, and password (stored only as a secure hash) when you create or join a workspace.
Workspace & financial data you enter: the information you choose to record, such as clients, vendors, invoices, expenses, cash positions, payroll and team details.
Usage & device data: basic technical information (app version, device type, IP address, in-app events) used to keep the Service reliable and improve it.
Support communications: messages you send us.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.

2. How we use your information

To provide, secure and operate the Service for your workspace.
To authenticate you and protect your account (including optional two-factor authentication).
To generate the reports, reminders and insights you ask for.
To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse or technical issues, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. Storage, security & data location

Your data is stored on secure, industry-standard cloud infrastructure (our database and authentication are provided by Supabase; our web pages are on managed hosting). Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Each workspace’s data is isolated from every other workspace using row-level security, so one customer cannot access another customer’s data.

Our primary data is hosted on Supabase infrastructure in the AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region — ap-south-1.

4. Sharing & processors

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the Service (e.g. our cloud database/auth provider and hosting provider), and only to the extent required to deliver it. These providers act as our processors under contract. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

5. Your rights & choices

Access & export: view and export your data from the in-app Export Center.
Correction: edit your data at any time.
Deletion: delete your account and data (see below).

6. Account & data deletion

You can request deletion at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account in the app, or by email. Your account is deactivated immediately and stays dormant for 48 hours: you can sign in again within that window to cancel. After 48 hours it is permanently deleted, except where we must retain limited records for legal, tax or accounting obligations. Full instructions: heyfinance.ai/delete-account.

7. Data retention

We keep your data while your workspace is active. After the 48-hour grace window following a deletion request, personal data is permanently removed, retaining only what the law requires.

8. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will revise the “Last updated” date above.
