Delete your account
Permanently delete your Hey Finance account and data.
You can delete your Hey Finance account and personal data at any time, using either method below.
Option 1, In the app (recommended)
- Open Hey Finance and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Option 2, By email
Email support@heyfinance.ai from the address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We’ll verify ownership and process it.
What gets deleted
- Your profile and login credentials.
- Your workspace data, clients, vendors, invoices, expenses, cash, payroll, team and related records, where you are the owner.
- Uploaded files (logo, documents, receipts).
Timing & how to cancel
Your account is deactivated immediately and stays dormant for 48 hours. To cancel, simply sign in again within 48 hours: your account is restored. After 48 hours, your personal and workspace data is permanently deleted automatically.
What we may retain
We may keep limited records where required by law (e.g. tax/accounting or fraud-prevention obligations), only for as long as legally required and not used for any other purpose.
